Executive Function Coaching
What is Executive
Function Coaching?
Did you know that executive function happens in the prefrontal lobe of our brain (right behind the forehead) and covers a wide array of skills used in daily life? From planning and prioritizing to emotion regulation and focusing attention, executive function impacts nearly everything we do. If you or someone you love struggles with these skills, so many things are so much harder. Want some support and strategies to navigate these challenges? Our Executive Function Coach is here to help!

Meet the coach, Suzy.
For years, I have been passionate about supporting and coaching others. After earning a degree in youth ministry/recreation from Bluffton College, I spent five years as a youth pastor while also working as a cheer coach and paraprofessional aid. I fell in love with the individualized support paraprofessionals provide, helping students develop strategies for success.
In 2012, I became a CoachLink Coach at Eastern Mennonite University, guiding college students—many of whom struggle with executive function skills—through this pivotal stage of life. After 12 years at EMU, I became a certified Executive Function Coach in 2024 and joined Adagio House in 2025.
My mission is to meet students where they are, mentor them, help them develop strategies for success, and provide the support they need to move forward. Every student is unique, and that’s what makes this work so rewarding.
