About Us

Adagio House was founded with the unique challenges faced by individuals with disabilities and their caregivers in mind.

Our Philosophy

Adagio House provides high-quality, trauma-informed, and relationship-based services to individuals with disabilities and their caregivers, ensuring access regardless of financial circumstances.

Fostering an environment of transformational welcome and mutual support, our work is rooted in the belief that healthy relationships are the foundation of a thriving life. We are continually developing new ways to help our community build and maintain meaningful connections.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we sustain our work through fundraisers, fee-for-service, donations, and grants. Guided by a dedicated and insightful board, we remain committed to expanding our impact and ensuring people with disabilities and their caregivers receive the support they need to thrive.

Our Mission

Ensuring families experiencing disability are cared for, included, and valued members of our communities.

Our Vision

A future where everyone belongs, just as they are.

  • A valuable resource

“Adagio House has been a valuable resource over the last four years. As a caretaker with trauma, I feel like there is genuine care and beneficial programs to support both myself and my family. I am grateful to have this organization in our community.”

  • Quality Treatment

“Over the past six-seven years of my life I have struggled financially at every turn. There have been moments where I could make a partial payment for a session, but the quality of treatment and services that Adagio House offers is more valuable than I could ever pay for honestly.”

  • Broadened Understanding

“I am so happy that I have been able to stay in therapy with April for such a long time as it has significantly helped me to grow and understand myself, my relationships, and my patterns. I personally believe that everyone could benefit from the style of therapy that Adagio House offers."
