Suzy Hostetler
Executive Function Coach

Providing support and coaching has been a part of my path for many years. I graduated from Bluffton College with a degree in youth ministry/recreation with a desire to support youth in their faith journey.

Following graduation I worked 5 years as a youth pastor, but found myself also working as a cheer coach and paraprofessional aid at the local Middle and High School. I fell in love with the one on one, individualized approach of paraprofessional support. Each student was uniquely gifted and had unique challenges. I felt honored to be able to walk alongside them as they developed strategies for success.

In 2012 I began my role as a CoachLink Coach at Eastern Mennonite University, working as a “life coach” to college students, supporting them as they navigate what it means to be a college student. Many of my students struggled with executive function skills and needed extra support to develop strategies. It was my role in this job that I found my niche: working with college students during this very pivotal time in their life and providing the one on one support they need to feel supported and be successful.

I continued my coaching role at EMU for 12 years. In July 2024 I became certified as an Executive Function Coach and began my role with Adagio House in January 2025. My mission is to meet students where they are: be a mentor, help them build strategies for success, connect them to resources, advocate for them and provide the extra layer of support they need to take the next step forward. Every student is different and that’s what makes this job uniquely beautiful.
